Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Coping with Job Loss
Description:

Finding yourself unemployed can have a profound effect on your emotional well being and leave you feeling as though you have lost control of your life.  However, there are definitely actions you can take to get back into the swing of things. At the March 22nd meeting of Transitions, Carrie Cook, MSW, LISW-S and Bob Piovarchy, LPC from the Far West Center will offer tips to help you to bounce back from your job loss and get started on a new path for success.

Transitions, a FREE networking group for area business professionals, is sponsored by Lorain County Community College. Transitions meetings feature short seminars on topics relevant to a successful job search, job leads and support, and networking contacts.  The group meets the second and fourth Monday of every month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in Room 340 of LCCC’s Entrepreneurship Innovation Center.  To ensure adequate seating, handouts, etc., your pre-registration is appreciated.

To register for this session or for more information about Transitions, call 1-800-995-5222, ext. 4076, or 440-366-4076.  Registrations can also be made on line at register online at  http://www.lorainccc.edu/Employment+and+Career+Services/transitions.htm
