NART 100K - Preschool Art

This class will provide opportunities for children to create art using a variety of different mediums. Emphasis will be placed on creative exploration of materials and the process of completing a project, not a product. Activities and projects change each session and are often based on the season, so the class can be repeated many times. This is a hands-on class, so come ready to get messy - dress appropriately!

NCGS 050K - Computer Gaming I

Learn to create your own games. In this class the students will learn how to create a first game (Clown Game), an advanced first game (Fruit and Bomb Game), and a basic maze game. NCGS 052K - Computer Gaming II

NCIS 111K - Google Apps for Education

Students will explore everything from Google Spreadsheets, Docs, and Presentations to Google Forms and the Lucidchart flowchart tool. More over, students will learn how to use Google Apps to collaborate with their peers and teachers. In this course students will create a Google account which will include a student e-mail account. All student account information will be provided to parents or guardians.

Learn to create your own web page using HTML. In this class the students will learn how to add headings, paragraphs, numbered lists, bulleted lists, links, pictures, tables and how to use a layout page as a template. Through song, movement and dance, learn to feel the rhythm and move to the beat. Emphasis will be on creative movement and enjoyment of dance. NRSK 100K - ACT Prep Course

This course will help ACT examinees prepare to take the ACT Test. Sessions will focus on an overview of the ACT Test, diagnostic evaluations, familiarity and practice with ACT type questions, and pacing strategies. Connection to resources to strengthen targeted areas for improvement will be provided and the sessions will conclude with a practice ACT Test. Session dates are arranged to conclude shortly before a scheduled ACT Test dates. Please note registration, including course fee, does not include the ACT registration and test fee and must be done independently through ACT testing centers - information on registration and fees for the actual test will be available in class.

NSCI 101K - The Art of Science

If you love science and making things, then this class is for you. We will be using common household products to make works of art that you can take home. In this class we will explore chemical and physical reactions, the formation of fossils, how color seperates and much more. Each week you will not only explore science, but create handmade crafts that you can share.
