NRSK 100K - ACT Prep Course

This course will help ACT examinees prepare to take the ACT Test. Sessions will focus on an overview of the ACT Test, diagnostic evaluations, familiarity and practice with ACT type questions, and pacing strategies. Connection to resources to strengthen targeted areas for improvement will be provided and the sessions will conclude with a practice ACT Test. Session dates are arranged to conclude shortly before a scheduled ACT Test dates. Please note registration, including course fee, does not include the ACT registration and test fee and must be done independently through ACT testing centers - information on registration and fees for the actual test will be available in class.

NWKS 151K - Computer Gaming Workshop 1

In this workshop student will learn how to create a fruit and bomb game. This type of game will have the player click on the vairous fruits in order to score points or lose if you click on a bomb. The game will get progressively harder over time played. Student participants will be able to incoroporate what they learn in class to create their own games. Please bring a flash drive to class.

NWKS 152K - Computer Gaming Workshop 2

In this workshop students will learn how to create a maze game. This type of game is a series of rooms consisting of a maze. The player must accomplish the tasks in the maze to exit by solving problems and avoiding objects. There are many puzzles that can be created in maze games. After completing the workshop, the student will be able to use their new skills to create their own games. Please bring a flash drive to class.
