NHLH 108 - Fitness Assessment

A fitness specialist administers a health risk appraisal questionnaire, reviews general nutrition guidelines, followed by an individual personal assessment of five components of fitness-cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition. NPER 150 - Fitness Center

This non credit course is for those who would like to utilize the LCCC Fitness Center and other recreational activities such as the indoor track and tennis courts. The center utilizes resistance equipment and cardiovascular equipment. Individual workouts can be designed for special needs. For those who wish to have an orientation prior to using the Fitness Center, register also for NPER 151. In order to qualify as an LCCC alumni you must have completed at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours at LCCC and register with the LCCC Alumni Association.

NPER 189 - Informal Recreation

This program provides opportunities for alumni and the public to use the Field House and track during informal recreation hours. The facilities can be used for basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer or exercise options such as walking/running. Seniors can use the track free of charge but need to enroll in this program to use the other facilities. In order to qualify as an LCCC alumni you must have completed 30 semester or 45 quarter hours at LCCC. Alumni need to be registered with the LCCC Alumni Association in order to be eligible to register for Alumni or Alumni Spouse sections.

Learn the basics of paddle boarding! This progressive course will focus on balance and free mobility through the water, allowing creative, fun progression of the techniques needed to navigate through rivers and lakes. The course is great for beginners as well as those with experience. This class is conducted by and will meet at West River Kayak & Canoe LLC in Vermilion. Students must be at least 16 years of age, unless a parent or guardian is also enrolled in the class. Students under 18 years of age must have waiver signed by parent/guardian.
