Komen Foundation for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. Sara Evans, a native of New Franklin, MO, has come a long way from singing with her family’s band as a child. She has garnered numerous accolades including the Academy of Country Music’s Top Female Vocalist honor in 2006 and the Country Music Association’s Video of the Year prize for “Born to Fly.” She’s been named one of People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People.” Her studio albums have been strong sellers. Her sophomore set, No Place That Far, has been certified Gold; 2001’s Born to Fly is double-Platinum and 2003’s Restless and 2005’s Real Fine Place are both Platinum. Her newest album, Stronger, is just the latest jewel in an already stellar career. Stronger is a landmark record filled with the kind of gutsy explorations on life and love that have made Sara Evans one of the most compelling female vocalists of her generation. www.saraevans.com Born in Waco, Kristen Kelly grew up on 10 acres in the country in small-town Lorena, Texas. She got her professional start in music 10 years ago with a band called Big Dave & The Freaks. She’s currently on tour with Brad Paisley. Kristen is making her Arista Nashville debut with Ex-Old Man, a true-to-life song that she co-wrote. Currently climbing the country airplay Top 40, Ex-Old Man is the first single from her first album, set for release later this year. She’s already earned a place in Country Aircheck chart history, marking the first time that a new female artist’s debut single topped the most-added list at country radio. www.KristenKellyMusic.com Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and raised in Latimer, Iowa, Jaida Dreyer’s unmistakable voice, bubbly personality, and eclectic, insightful songwriting scored her a publishing deal with Grammy Award-winning producer Byron Gallimore (Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Sugarland) at the precocious age of 19. When Gallimore created his own label, Streamsound Records, he threw his full support behind her career. Building on the success of Jaida Dreyer’s spunky, self-reliant debut, Guy’s Girl, her second single, Confessions, will be all over country radio soon. www.jaidadreyer.com
