Lorain County Community College opened
its Abbe Road facilities on October 3, 1966, making it the first community
college in Ohio with a permanent campus. Today, the 250-acre site
has grown to include 14 specialized education and training facilities
and a technology park, designed to meet the needs of today's businesses.
All campus facilities are within a short walk of one an other, and
are inter-connected with enclosed walkways.
