NAST 103K - Space Explorers

This two part adventure blasts off with a journey through the summer night sky while learning how to use a star-map and star-wheel. Then off to Starlab, an inflatable planetarium, to enjoy the constellations and stories of the stars. Day two takes you on a galactic trip thru the solar system to explore planet sizes and distance on a solar system hike. Make a pocket solar system to take home.

NCIS 110K - Raspberry Pi - Scratch

Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into a monitor or television and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing and learn how to program in languages like Scratch. Scratch is a child/youth friendly computer language which is easy for beginners to use. Students will use Scratch to learn how to program and operate a Raspberry Pi while creating animated animals and adventure role playing games. The Raspberry Pi unit will be taken home at the end of the course for personal use.

Learn to write amazing mysteries, poems, fantasies, and personal narratives. In addition popular stories by famous children's authors will be read aloud and discussed.
